At age seven my family emigrated back to their roots in Cyprus. Then there was an actual war between Cyprus and Turkey, which basically saw us become refugees in Cyprus.
Later in life, I had an accident, and doctors had said to me that I was paralyzed, I was a quadriplegic and I wasn’t likely to walk again.
Of course, they didn’t know me. I thought, “Well, hey, why not set a goal to walk again?” Set a goal to go back to work full-time not, not as a part-timer, get back on the bike and finish what I started on the day of the accident.
“If you don’t set a goal to achieve, you won’t achieve it.”
